What is Software Freedom Day Cleveland?
SFD-CLE is a free conference to educate people about Free and Open Source Software. It is Cleveland's version of Software Freedom Day, a series of similar events taking place around the globe. At SFD-CLE, we're specifically targeting three groups of attendees; IT personnel, business owners and managers, and average computer users. Our theme is ACE: Associate. Celebrate. Educate.
The conference is being held Monday October 27th between 10am and 4pm at the Gemini Center in Fairview Park.
Why Does Software Freedom Day Cleveland Need Sponsors?
SFD-CLE is being offered at no cost to all attendees. Putting on this event involves charges for the facilities, printed materials, promotion, prizes, food, attendee packages (CDs, T-Shirts etc) and other incidental expenses. As a sponsor, you'll help offset these costs, and in exchange, get great exposure to a diverse crowd of Clevelanders.

Logo
Your company logo will be displayed on our website with a hyperlink to your company homepage. The size and placement of the logo will be determined by the level of sponsorship. In addition, we will have a collage of sponsor logos that will adorn the attendee programs and will be displayed between presentations.
Exhibitor
By exhibiting at the event, you will have direct access to our attendees during the breaks between sessions. Use this opportunity to answer questions, demonstrate your products, or allow your recruiters to talk to potential employees. Our audience loves swag, so bring your coolest marketing give-aways to draw them to your table!
T-Shirt
Every attendee will receive a T-shirt with the Software Freedom Day Cleveland logo on the front, and sponsor logos on the back (Platinum sponsors only).
